Exterior & Colors
The 2023 Toyota RAV4 sits at 181-182″ L x 73″ W x 67-69″ H, with the choice of 17-19" wheels, nine single-tone colors and seven two-tone paints. In comparison, the 2023 Toyota 4Runner dimensions are 190-191″ L x 76″ W x 72″ H, with 17-20" wheels, eight regular colors and three special-edition paints for the 40th Anniversary model.
 
Interior Design & Seating
It doesn't matter which of these two Toyota SUVs you choose, there are two rows situated in the cabin. With these two rows, you can fit five people comfortably, although the 4Runner offers a little more interior space. What's different about the two is that the 4Runner has an optional third row that adds two more seats.
Infotainment & Features
The 2023 Toyota RAV4 and 4Runner both come standard with an 8" touch screen, USB ports, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a satellite radio. The 2023 RAV4 also comes with a six-speaker audio system, while the 4Runner has a standard eight-speaker audio system along with voice recognition.
Cargo Capacity
There's more cargo room in the 2023 Toyota 4Runner than the RAV4. The new RAV4 includes 37 cubic feet in the rear, with a total of 69.8 cubic feet, while the 4Runner holds 47.2 and 89.7 cubic feet, respectively. If you prefer the three-row 4Runner, the measurements are 9, 46.3, and 88.8 cubic feet.
